When Pamela Smith ditched corporate America, she ditched the clothes that went along with it and donned her signature pink hair. Unable to find what she wanted in 'cookie cutter' stores, she ended up spending countless hours on the web searching site after site to find the looks she was after. While grateful for the handful of designers she found online (Mode Merr being one of the first), Pam dreamed of finding a store that carried more than one designer or genre. Pam hoped to find a place to shop for her eclectic fashion needs under one roof, she knew she wasn’t alone.
Armed with an entrepreneurial spirit, a background in web development and a lifetime fascination with fashion, Pam moved on her
decision to create an e-boutique and the rest is history. Please Me bootique launched in January of 2008, and the dream of owning an alternative fashion boutique became a reality.
Pam surfed the net, went through her closet, read old issues of
her favorite magazines, 'BUST' and 'Juxtapoz', and assembled the incredible
talents that you will find at Please Me bootique.Talking to Pam you will easily see she how
excited she is to bring you Please Me bootique's line of products. It's her desire to meet her friends unique

A Note from Pamela
Welcome
to Please Me bootique! Thanks for checking us out! Here is a little
411 (sorry if it’s verbose!)
I
started Please Me boutique after years of fashion frustration and a desire to
break the mold of the “chic boutique”. My edgy “BOOtique” might scare off
the typical fashionistas out there and I’m okay with that. We don’t carry
the necklace worn on “Sex In the City” or the $365 Coach wedge featured in the
last issue of Vogue. What you will find here, is an eclectic mix of
clothing and accessories that will help you build a fun, flattering and
creative wardrobe that is suitable for work or play.
It’s
my mission to offer you affordable, quality made products by great indie
designers/artists while maintaining an ethical and socially conscious
business. I’m a stickler for quality so I hand inspect all pieces when
they arrive. I personally own items from each company I represent in the
boutique. I am proud to showcase the products created by these designers
and artists--they are amazing! I know you'll love them as much as I do.
I’m
no Bono but I do care about social issues and I bring that into Please Me
bootique. I strive to carry products that are sweatshop free. The vast
majority are made in the USA (95% of which are from women owned businesses; a
cause near and dear to my heart). I’m working on getting more eco friendly
products in the near future. All in all, I’m just trying to give you what
I would expect from a shopping experience. Please Me bootique gives you
creative fashion with a conscience which is something that is hard to come by
in the world of online shopping. I hope you will enjoy shopping with us.”
XOXO,
Pamela Smith
